My approach.
Everyone is different. My approach is collaborative, focused on developing a therapeutic partnership where complex life issues can be faced, goals identified, and steps taken towards the future.
Whether your concerns are related to past trauma and PTSD symptoms triggered in the present, or anxiety, stress, depression, grief or other concerns, we can work together to meet your needs.
Tools and training.
I am trained in relational, psychodynamic therapy, along with several proven approaches that aid in your symptom management and ensure healing:
DBT, or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, offers practical, learnable skills that create real change for those feeling controlled by their emotions, stuck in cycles of overthinking, or struggling to manage anxiety in daily life.
CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, helps people identify and challenge negative thoughts, allowing them to challenge unhelpful behaviors and address difficult situations more effectively.
EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a highly effective, evidence-based psychotherapy designed to help people heal from trauma and PTSD.
